Customize Your Power
The Rubicon 392 has a V8 engine cylinder deactivation system that can switch off four of the eight cylinders, making it a more fuel-efficient four-cylinder. The Wrangler V8 engine will do this under light driving conditions to save fuel, but when you step on the throttle, it will switch back to eight-cylinder mode to give you the power you need. Jeep offers many customization options and has a long list of amenities and custom features from which to choose. Our dealership has a vast Jeep inventory and can help you create the Rubicon 392 just the way you like it.
Frequently Asked Question?
Do Jeep Wranglers have V8 Engines?
Not all Jeep Wranglers have V8 engines; only the new Rubicon 392 offers this feature. All other Wrangler models come with a V6 engine as standard. The standard Rubicon and Rubicon Unlimited also has the standard V6 engine instead of the V8.
How much will the V8 Wrangler cost?
You can expect to pay a little more for the V8 engine than for models with the V6 engine. The price also depends on the trim package and the options that you choose. For instance, you can opt for the Sky One-Touch Power top or a special appearance package to change the price. You can find out more information about pricing on our Financing Page.
Is the Jeep Wrangler safe?
Jeep cares about safety, which is why they included over 75 active and passive safety systems. These include the Park-Sense Rear Park Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a Trailcam off-road camera.
